About Linghua Ding:

 My name is Linghua Ding. I currently teaching Mandarin Chinese at Mitchell High School Colorado Springs, CO. This is my fourth-year teaching Chinese in the US. I am also currently a student in MA Multilingual Education program, University of Northern Colorado, which is a licensure program. I will get my teaching license at the end of this year. My undergraduate major is Chinese Language Literature and Education.  As a vigorous person, I had been a reporter and culture program director for 8 years where I received more than 20 awards.  Later, I got a Master’s Degree in Communication and became an Associate Professor of Film and Television Communication at South China Agriculture University Guangzhou, China. Between my time as a reporter and college teacher, I have published news works and papers that contained over a million words.  I also was a visiting scholar at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017. I met my husband in NC and it completely changed the course of my life.
