Why I wanted to participate in ViVID:

Reflection is important to teaching; and yet, sometimes, it seems to me that the hectic schedule of a lecturer just whirls me around and I don’t have a chance to pause and think about my own teaching. The program is a great opportunity for me to sit down and observe myself. In addition, having an opportunity to observe other teachers who teach other LCTLs is a great learning experience.
